History
Under the No Child Left behind Act of 2001 (NCLB), students currently enrolled in schools that have been in ?Needs Improvement? (NI) status for two or more years, may be eligible to receive Supplemental Educational Services (SES) Only students eligible to receive free or reduced lunch will be able to receive services through SES.

Supplemental Educational Services (SES) is a program which offers, free of charge, additional academic instruction (tutoring) outside of the regular school day. SES is designed to increase academic achievement of students living in low-income households and students attending schools which have been shown to be low-performing schools. Tutoring, under this program, is provided by state approved service providers. Tutoring services may take place at the service provider's location, in the student's home or any other pre-approved and predetermined location.
*Students who are eligible for SES, and who attend the following middle and/or high schools may participate in SES for the 2010-2011 school years. Eligibility is contingent upon the school's "Needs Improvement" status.

90% of Learning Station Tutorial students passed the CRCT and EOCT during the 2009-2010 school years.
STUDENT (Brianna R.):
I love my teachers! I feel like I can talk to my teachers about anything.

Parent (Reagan's Mom):
Yes, Learning Station helped my daughter successfully pass the CRCT for the 07-08 school years! Initially, my daughter failed the CRCT, so I enrolled her at LST on June 11th; she took a retest of the CRCT on June 24th and this time she passed! My daughter explained to me that what Learning Station taught her during the summer, she remembered, and that's how she passed the test. I was going to take her out of LST after the test and re-enroll her in August, however; my daughter was so persistent about staying enrolled that I decided to continue with tutoring at LST.

STUDENT (Courtney E.):
Learning Station helped me pass my Geometry class. Thank You!

Parent (Nicole F.):
My daughter started the LST program with a 38% average in math. After only a few sessions with a tutor who worked on-on one with my daughter, her average soared to 75%. LST definitely helped. At her end of the semester my daughter earned an 'A' in the math class that was so hard at first. Thank you everyone at LST. I am a very satisfied parent!
LST employs a researched-based curriculum with proven results in student achievement. To accurately determine the student's instructional levels, pre and post tests are administered in all required subject areas.
